The Recreational League is volunteer-based. Each team needs at least one parent volunteer coach who will receive guidance and support from our team of professional coaches.

To ensure the safety and well-being of all players, parent coaches must pass a background check. This is a wonderful opportunity to actively engage in your child's soccer journey, making lasting memories and fostering a love for the sport together.

If you are interested in coaching, please email Natalia Ariza, the Rec Director, at: natalia@gfiacademy.com

No, the focus is on participation, fun, and development. Every player is celebrated!

Teams are assigned based on age group and skill level to ensure balanced and fun competition.

After registering, be sure to download the PlayMetrics app. It keeps you up to date with schedule changes, connects you directly with the GFI Rec director and coaches, and places you in a parent group chat for seamless communication.

We accommodate team placements based on friend requests. During the application process, you can enter the names of those who referred you, ensuring your children can play on the same team.

Our recreational program offers in-house leagues, where your child will enjoy the excitement of playing against other GFI Academy recreational teams on game days. This structure fosters a sense of community, camaraderie, and friendly competition within the academy.
